dc.description.abstract The Northwest Energy Education Institute1 (NEEI) has developed and presents a very unique energy efficiency training and certification program. Modeled after a similar course once offered in New Zealand, NEEI offers a two-week energy management certification program that requires students to place into practice what is learned in the classroom. Students who have completed the program show a significant return on investment for their training dollar and ongoing energy savings. This paper will present the Energy Management Certification2 (EMC) program in detail and five case studies of students who have completed the program. en_US
